It's Harvest Time!
August brings the beginning of the annual grape harvest. It can be a very crazy, tiring, HOT time of the year. We think of it as a Survivor-ish endurance test: outwit the birds, outlast the heat, outmaneuver Mother Nature to harvest the grapes at their prime. We have a loyal group of grape pickers who come back every year to help us, and we welcome other interested individuals who are willing to brave the elements to join in the-- er-- fun.
